Different Cakes

"Different Cakes" rethinks our own perception of construction waste through the use of common building materials. The always hidden and ubiquitous insulator spray foam was used to cast various objects in molds infused with paints, scraps, and textures. Then, to further decontextualize the material from its origin, the objects were photographed in a posh still-life setting similar to a Dutch Renaissance painting.
